40th Anniversary

May 1, 1984 was a milestone for Julie and Becca. While mom was opening the doors to Threadbender Yarn Shop & Gallery for the first time ever, I was probably in school, learning how to write or some such mundane thing.

Fast forward 39.8 years...I've finally graduated first grade - and a few others, we have updated the shop name - dropping the "& Gallery", moved (in 2017), gone online, survived a global pandemic, mom has all but retired, and I have decided to throw the most extravagant series of special anniversary events a yarn shop has ever seen. Can I pull it off? We will find out!

We are bringing in special guests from all over the world - in person and via Zoom, working with vendors on creating special and custom products, designing new projects, scheduling many trunk shows, and doing all the things. I'm sure somewhere in there will be cake! SQUIRRELS ROCK! IYKYK.

Fri, Apr 12 - Baah Yarn consignment show has arrived! We have La Jolla, Sonoma, Party Packs, and many garments for you to try on and squish! You can visit in person until it's online.
